Interim Financial Controller job for a 3-6 month period with our client based in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
• Production of annual statutory accounts and liaison with External Auditors
• Ensuring business as usual is maintained during a period of change and restructure within the company
• Management and supervision of the finance team
• Cashflow management and forecasting
• Preparing the annual budget and monthly monitoring of budgets and operational performance
• Analysis of variance and production of forecasts
• Liaison with budget holders and operational management

To apply you must be a Qualified Accountant, with a track record of working as a Financial Controller previously within a medium sized business. Experience of successfully managing during change will be advantageous. You will have first class stakeholder management skills. Start Date: September 2018. Day Rate: circa £350 per day
