Interim Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller job with our Glasgow based client for a 12 month period. Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for:

• The operational and day to day leadership and management of the finance function with 8 in the team
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of statutory accounts for the group and liaison with external auditors
• Annual budget setting, forecasting and analysis of variances
• Business partnering and liaison with operational management
• Treasury management including cashflow monitoring and forecasting
• Management reporting and reporting to investors
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Standard costing
• VAT Returns and Corporation Tax

You will be a qualified accountant with previous experience of leading a finance team. You will be very hands on in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts and a background in manufacturing or FMCG will be advantageous as will previous experience of working during an ERP implementation.

Salary: £80,000-£90,000 p.a.
