Interim Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller (Hybrid) job for a 6-month period with our client based in Glasgow.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the finance team in a Group function, responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts to include multiple entities
• Producing statutory accounts to meet IFRS and liaison with external auditors
• Cashflow forecasting, including working capital
• Budgeting, forecasting and analysis of variances to actual
• Supporting the implementation of a new ERP
• Treasury management and liaising with the banks
• VAT Returns and Corporation Tax computations
• Ongoing improvement of procedures and processes in finance

To apply, you will be a qualified accountant (preferably CA with an audit background) and a highly experienced Group Financial Controller, comfortable with leading a medium-sized team, preparing consolidations and statutory accounts and with a process change and improvement mindset. Previous experience in supporting an ERP upgrade would be beneficial.

The role will require 3-4 days per week on site. Salary: circa £90,000 p.a. plus benefits.
