Interim Financial Controller job with our high-growth SME client based in Glasgow. This role will be for an initial 3-month period. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Producing integrated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
• Financial modelling of the cost of cashflow, product data and working capital requirements
• Utilising accounting system to create financial reports and posting of journals
• Managing a small team of finance staff
• Accruals and prepayments
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT Returns
• Assisting the CFO with other ad hoc duties as required

To apply, you will be an experienced and qualified ‘hands on’ accountant with a demonstrative background in financial modelling. The ideal candidate will be an advanced user of Excel and able to use an existing financial model. Good knowledge of Xero accounting software would be advantageous but not essential. This position would be commencing mid-late November. Salary bracket: £50,000 - £60,000 p.a. or equivalent day rate.
