Interim Financial Controller job for a 6 month period with our Edinburgh based client. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Cashflow management and forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT Returns
• Processing payroll and expenses for the business
• Supervision of a small finance team including AP & AR
• Follow up on external audit action points
• Implementing improvements in processes and procedures

To apply will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant, with transactional finance leadership skills. You will be extremely hands on and will also be able to display a track record in improving processes within a transactional finance environment. Start in May 2022 and this role will support hybrid working. Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
