Interim Financial Controller job with our client based in Ayrshire for a 12 month period. Reporting to the Senior Manager the main duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly group management accounts including consolidated profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of year end group statutory accounts to meet UK GAAP and liaison with external auditors
• Review monthly reports and liaise with Business Partners
• Lead on the financial plan for the group monitoring ongoing performance
• Drive continual improvement of processes and procedures
• Lead on the preparation of VAT Returns and Corporation Tax
• Leadership of the finance team

You will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience at Financial Controller or Head of Finance level. You will have led the statutory accounts process previously, but also be able to lead on the commercial analysis for the business. You will also be comfortable leading a medium sized finance team of both qualified and non-qualified team members. Salary: £60,000-£70,000 plus benefits depending on experience.
