Interim Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller job with our growing SME client based outside Glasgow. The duration of the contract is for an initial 3 month period but may develop into a longer term opportunity. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Building and develop a Financial Forecasting Model to undertake consolidated financial projections for the business ensuring the model is user ready
• Prepare financial projections/forecasts over the next 2-4 years
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and consolidations to meet strict month end deadlines
• Streamlining of month end processes
• Production of annual statutory accounts to FRS102
• Develop the Group reporting function
• Undertake systems development work upgrading from the existing Accounting software

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant who has excellent Financial Modelling skills, with a track record of building financial models from scratch. You will therefore be a highly competent Excel user. You will also have ideally undertaken a Financial Controller role previously within a SME, ideally owner managed. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing and ambitious company. Day Rate equivalent £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
