Rutherford Cross is working with a central Glasgow based organisation who due to a period of change and growth are looking to add an Interim Finance Analyst to their team to assist with increased workload. This job will be for a fixed period of 12 months however could extend thereafter. The Finance Analyst will support the Management Reporting Team with all aspects of internal and external financial reporting and ensure deadlines are met. This is a far reaching Group Reporting role which will offer varied experience over the course of the contract. There will also be ad-hoc project work which will involve supporting Senior Management.

Some key aspects of this role will include:

• Supporting month end financial close including journal entries, reconciliations and analytical review
• Managing outputs for specific business areas including P&L, Balance Sheet, MI
• Supporting Group Reporting with the year end process
• Enhancing reporting outputs and working on any relevant process improvements
• Providing support to any ad-hoc finance projects

This job requires either a part qualified or fully qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience in working in a financial reporting/group reporting environment. Experience of preparing statutory and management accounts is important as well as the ability to meet reporting deadlines. On offer is a long term contract providing broad exposure throughout. Salary up to £35,000 per annum.
