Salary: up to £39k

Rutherford Cross is working with a Glasgow based company who have a strong presence in their sector and are looking to add a Finance Analyst to their team for a fixed term period of 12 months. There is also the possibility of this role being made permanent thereafter. This Financial Analyst job will be focused around providing a business partnering service between Finance and other areas of the organisation and also carrying out management accounting duties with insightful analysis. Some of the key aspects of the role will include:

• Supporting Senior Management with financial budgeting and planning with regular reporting and supporting commentary
• Provide Business Partnering support across the organisation
• Ensuring compliance with all policies and controls
• Month end reporting including preparing monthly accounts, reporting packs and insight
• Managing enquiries from internal and external customers including query resolution
• Managing the integrity of financial data within the financial accounting systems

This role requires either a fully qualified (CA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience accountant (QBE) who has previous experience of preparing management accounts and also business partnering experience preferably within a large and complex organisation. This is a role which will require high levels of interaction with various departments and contacts which will mean interpersonal and communication skills are key along with strong Excel ability for reporting purposes.
