Public Sector organisation based in Glasgow require a Financial Accountant to join their finance team on an interim basis for a period of 6 months. The key aspect of this role is to provide support throughout financial year end. Working in a team main aspects of the role will include:

• Support the annual accounts process
• Prepare statutory accounts and provide final sign off
• Assist with the audit process
• Ensuring the accounting documentation is produced in line with financial regulations
• Ad hoc support for projects

This role will suit a qualified accountant who preferably has experience within the Public sector. You must be very technically strong and be experienced in year-end preparation. Additionally you will need to have good reporting and systems skills. This position is expected to start in the next two weeks.
