Interim Financial Accountant job (Remote Working) with our Glasgow based client for a 9-month period. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of Statutory Accounts at year end
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
• Production and review of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Production of Budgets and Forecasts with ongoing monitoring of performance
• Fixed Assets Reconciliations
• Leading on Risk and Compliance Checklists
• Continuous process and controls improvement within established Risk and Control Framework
• VAT Returns
• Assisting Senior Management with other ad hoc duties as required

To apply, you will be a Qualified Accountant with a background in Financial Accounting, ideally within a Public Sector organisation. You will have good technical and analytical capabilities with familiarity surrounding accounting standards. The ideal candidate will also have good general management accounting skills and be a proficient user of Excel. This role will be primarily remote with occasional travel required to the organisations Glasgow office. Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 p.a. or equivalent day rate.
