Interim Financial Accountant

Interim Financial Accountant job with our client based in Edinburgh for a short term contract.  This role is due to commence at the start of July so may largely be based from home but may require some time in the office. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

• Preparation and review of Statutory Accounts for individual subsidiaries
• Production and review of Group Consolidated Statutory Accounts to meet IFRS
• Supporting the process of moving from draft to finalised accounts making necessary changes and with the addition of notes where required
• Complex Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Liaison with external auditors being a key contact managing this relationship
• Supporting the Financial Controller in the presentation of the annual statutory reports to the Board

You will be a Qualified Accountant, ideally CA, and be up to date in all aspects of IFRS and technical statutory accounting. It would be advantageous if you have previous group consolidation experience. Due to the current lockdown this role will involve Virtual Interviews and Virtual On-boarding. Day Rate (equivalent of) : £40,000 - £50,000 p.a.
