Interim Financial Accountant job (hybrid) with our Edinburgh-based client for a 3-month period.

You will be working with the Financial Reporting Manager and be responsible for:

• Financial reporting and preparing statutory accounts
• Liaising with external auditors
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting in annual budget process through the preparation of budget figures on the balance sheet
• Preparing monthly VAT and annual tax returns, advance payments and consolidated billing reconciliations, invoices and monitoring of deposit amounts
• Handling of technical accounting queries
• Ensuring efficiency in accounting policies in conjunction with regulatory compliance
• Line management of a small finance team

To apply, you will be a qualified, qualified by experience or a part-qualified accountant experienced in financial reporting and the preparation of statutory accounts. Line management experience is highly desirable and you will be a proficient user of MS Excel. Salary: Circa £400 per day.
