Interim Finance Transactions Manager

Interim Finance Transactions Manager job with our Edinburgh based client. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing a sizeable team in AP, AR and Payroll
• Preparing monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Production of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Ensuring the efficient processing of transactions
• Ongoing improvement of processes and procedures and development of ERP system
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the finance department
• Support Financial Planning and Capital Projects
• Complex Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Reconciliation of AP, AR and General Ledger
• Monitoring of cash flow and cash flow forecasting

To apply you must be a qualified Accountant with a strong grounding in AP, AR and Financial Accounting. You will have considerable experience leading transactional processing teams and have first class communication skills. This may be from a shared service centre background or from another large-scale business. Day Rate equivalent of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
