Description

Interim Finance Manager job for a 16-month period with our Glasgow based client. Reporting to the Director the main duties and responsibilities include:

 

  • Set up systems, processes and procedures for this newly created charitable status organisation
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Production of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
  • Monitoring of funded projects budgets and regular liaison with key stakeholders and Project Managers
  • Prepare regular reports for external funders
  • Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  • Preparing VAT Returns
  • Supervision of 1 finance staff member
  • Working closely with the Director and as part of the Senior Leadership team

You will be a fully qualified or ‘qualified by experience’ accountant who is very hands on in the preparing of management accounts. You will have worked in a sme environment, ideally within the public, charitable or arts sectors. It would also be beneficial if you have previous experience of working within a start-up. This business and role will support flexible working. Salary: circa £50,000 p.a.
