Interim Finance Director (Part Time) job with our Glasgow based SME client for a 6-month period.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
• Producing annual statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors
• Preparing reports and management information for Group
• Leading on the annual budget setting process
• Cashflow management and forecasting
• Providing ongoing analysis to operational managers to support performance
• Providing financial analysis to support during the entire lifecycle of multiple projects
• Supporting the sales team with pricing and commercial decision making
• Assessing current systems and processes with a view to making recommendations and improvements for the future
• Leading and managing a small finance team

To apply, you will be a qualified and experienced Finance Director who has remained hands-on. You will ideally have worked in SME sized businesses and be comfortable in both delivering the business as usual whilst also advising on improvements and succession beyond the contract duration. This will include carrying out a review of existing finance processes and systems. This role offers flexibility, hybrid working, and is ideally a 3 day per week role. Day Rate: £competitive.
