Interim Finance Director job with our Glasgow based client who are in the manufacturing sector for an initial 3-month period. This role could develop into a permanent opportunity.

Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for:

• Strategic leadership and management of the finance function
• Business partner with the leadership team to deliver the business plan in line with group strategic objectives
• Annual budget setting and monthly forecasting
• Drive accurate cost of production reporting and ongoing efficiencies
• Provide financial insight and commercial challenge on investment proposals
• Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes
• Lead month end close processes and annual group statutory accounts reporting
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Oversee corporation tax and VAT

To apply it is essential that you are a qualified accountant with previous Finance Director experience from within a manufacturing or industrial sector. You will also have a track record of leading high performing finance teams.

Salary:

• up to £120,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent
