Description
Interim Finance Director job with our Glasgow based client who are in the manufacturing sector for an initial 3-month period. This role could develop into a permanent opportunity.
Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for:
- Strategic leadership and management of the finance function
- Business partner with the leadership team to deliver the business plan in line with group strategic objectives
- Annual budget setting and monthly forecasting
- Drive accurate cost of production reporting and ongoing efficiencies
- Provide financial insight and commercial challenge on investment proposals
- Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes
- Lead month end close processes and annual group statutory accounts reporting
- Cash flow management and forecasting
- Oversee corporation tax and VAT
To apply it is essential that you are a qualified accountant with previous Finance Director experience from within a manufacturing or industrial sector. You will also have a track record of leading high performing finance teams.
Salary:
- up to £120,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent
