Description

Interim Finance Business Partner job (hybrid) with a well-known Glasgow headquartered organisation for a 12-month period.

Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing accurate periodic financial information in line with company accounting policies, to their respective directorates in the form of a reporting pack with a full commentary on the financial performance each period along with initiative tracking
  • Attending directorate team meetings and lead the presentation of financial information
  • Preparing and developing the annual budget, business plan and other statistical / statutory information, in conjunction with the relevant Directors, senior management teams and the Senior Finance Business Partner
  • Closely liaising with the business to ensure any future changes are incorporated within the quarterly forecast and annual budget and business plan submissions
  • Completing periodic balance sheet reconciliation related to their respective directorate and complete key P&L analysis schedules each period. Ensuring that all reconciliations are completed on a timely basis and adequate supporting information is provided
  • Developing and maintaining financial control processes to ensure maximum value for money is obtained in line with business requirements. Ensuring compliance with the current delegated authority limits is in force
  • Assisting the Financial Planning Manager or the Financial Controller with any ad hoc requests or project work

The Individual:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Experience working in a Business Partner / Finance Manager role in a similar organisation
  • Excellent communicator at all levels, both written and verbal
  • IT literate with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Report writing and presentation skills essential
  • Able to work independently and as part of a core team
