Description

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be exclusively supporting our client to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic organisation in Glasgow on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

This role is a critical part of the finance team, providing strategic insight, financial expertise and commercial guidance to key stakeholders. The role will look to commence during Q1 of 2024; therefore, candidates with notice periods can be considered.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a proven track record of delivering impactful financial analysis and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering strategic financial insights to support decision making
  • Prepare and present robust financial forecasts, budgets, and management reports
  • Partner with operational teams to drive performance, identify opportunities and manage risks
  • Provide clear analysis of financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Lead financial planning cycles, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Support business transformation projects by delivering financial modelling and scenario planning
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis

Key Requirements:

  • Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with post-qualification experience
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of partnering with non-financial stakeholders
    Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Previous experience in a business partnering role is essential
