Interim Finance Business Partner

Interim Finance Business Partner job with our Scottish Borders-based client. This role will report directly to the CFO for an initial 6-month period.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

• Maintaining strong budgetary controls, providing management and financial advice ensuring statutory financial targets are achieved
• Supporting the coordination and consolidation of financial reports
• Ensuring all budget holders have accurate and regular budget monitoring statements
• Contributing to the development of medium and long-term financial strategies, ensuring financial risks are identified
• Ensuring a sound understanding of complex financial issues across all stakeholder levels is communicated both internally and externally
• Developing effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, developing a customer-orientated approach
• Supporting the CFO with ad-hoc reporting as required

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial management and accounting, budgeting and controls and preparation of Annual Accounts. You will have advanced IT skills and highly developed analytic skills. The successful candidate will be required to be on-site in the Scottish Borders circa once every two weeks. This role has an immediate start date and a salary of £54,500 - £56,900 p.a.
