Interim Director of Finance job for a 6 month period with our SME client based in the West Highlands. Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing a small finance team to produce the monthly management accounts
• Annual budget setting and ongoing budgetary monitoring and variance analysis
• Monitoring KPI’s within the annual business plan
• Leading the statutory accounting and liaison with external auditors
• Business Partnering with key internal and external stakeholders
• Providing input into the strategic direction of the business, as part of the Leadership Team
• Driving ongoing improvement of systems and processes

To apply, you will be an experienced qualified Accountant who has operated at Head of Finance or Financial Controller level previously. You will be extremely hands on, and this role only requires the individual to be onsite 1 or 2 days per month. Ideally starting in October 2022, the salary is £60,000-£65,000 p.a.
