Interim Director of Finance job with our education sector client in Scotland for a 6-12 month period.

Reporting to the Principal you will be responsible for:

• Providing financial leadership to a large finance team and contributing to strategic decisions within the institution
• Ensure strategies, systems and controls are in place to support multiple diverse activities
• Facilitating growth in income from fees, contracts and commercial opportunities
• Playing a key role in the senior leadership group for the institution
• Leading on the annual planning and budget setting process
• Overseeing the preparation of business plans and investment proposals
• Business partnering with leaders and managers across the business supporting their development in relation to financial acumen
• Managing the relationships with the banks and overseeing cashflow for the institution
• Other key strategic duties as required

To apply you will be a fully qualified accountant and it is essential that you have worked previously as a Finance Director within the education sector. This role could be delivered 3, 4 or 5 days per week.

Salary: £competitive p.a. or day rate equivalent.
