Interim Capital Accounting Manager (Hybrid) job with our client in Edinburgh for a 12 month period.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the reporting and control of the assets and budget monitoring of capital expenditure for the business
• Developing and managing the Strategic Capital Plan
• Producing the monthly capital monitoring pack highlighting budgetary variances
• Updating revised forecasts on the capital programme
• Providing technical advice on accounting standards and capital accounting guidance
• Assisting with details costings in the preparation of capital investment business cases
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Maintaining and monitoring leases that fall under IFRS16
• Supporting with the statutory accounts in the area of fixed assets and leases

We welcome applications from candidates who are fully qualified accountants with experience in capital budget management and previous responsibility of the fixed asset register. Day Rate: circa £300 per day.
