Interim Assistant Management Accountant job with a PE backed, Glasgow based SME business for an initial 6-month period.

Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting with the preparation of monthly management accounts including revenue, accruals, and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Debtor and credit control management and reporting
• Cash flow reporting
• Supplier payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliation review
• Branch P&L reporting to area managers
• Supervising Account Manager and Purchase Ledger Clerk
• Quarterly stock take

To apply, you will be a Part Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with experience of Management Accounts, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Cash flow and Credit Control. The post holder will have strong communication skills and be comfortable overseeing the work of two junior staff. Sound knowledge of Excel is important for this role. This position has potential to be made permanent.
