Rutherford Cross is working with a public sector organisation based in West Glasgow who are looking to add an interim Assistant Finance Manager to their team for a period of 3-6 months. This role will suit ideally a fully qualified, QBE or part qualified candidate with relevant and recent work experience. The main duties involved are summarised below:
- Overseeing bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly management accounts processing with commentary
- VAT processing
- Monthly reporting
- Supervising a small team of two
This role is to start asap so candidates would need to be available at short notice. Recent experience in the above duties is essential as is good excel ability. Sector experience within Public Sector/Charity would be highly desirable.
