Interim Assistant Finance Analyst job with our Glasgow based client for an initial 3-month period. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Gathering information from the booking system and inputting it onto the accounting system
• Handling daily sales invoicing
• Journal postings
• Accruals and prepayments
• Sales month end procedures
• Managing booking amendments and cancellations
• Processing ad hoc purchase invoices on purchase ledger
• Preparation of twice weekly payment runs for off service bookings
• Payment processing through Sage

To apply, you will be an experienced and diligent accountant able to handle a complex client portfolio with differing requirements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accruals and prepayments as well as being a proficient user of Excel. Knowledge of Sage accounting software would be advantageous for this position but is not mandatory. This role will commence early November. Salary: Circa £33,000 p.a.
