Interim Assistant Accountant job with a growing industrial business based in Falkirk for an initial 3-month period.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Processing incoming and outgoing payments, including vendor invoices, bills, and customer payments
• Reconciling accounts payable and receivable statements
• Reconciling bank accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies as they arise
• Helping with the preparation of year-end financial reports
• Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures

The Individual:

• Proven experience in a similar accounting role
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Excel
• Immediately available

On Offer:

• £35,000 p.a.
• Office based working in Falkirk
