An excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a high-growth organisation based just outside of Glasgow.
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Purchase ledger ownership, including supplier statement reconciliations, trend analysis, intercompany reconciliations and presenting of key movements each month
- Month end assistance, including but not limited to, fixed asset reconciliation, bank reconciliations, support on stock reconciliations and drafting journals for review
- Staff expenses and credit card reconciliations
- Bi-monthly payment runs including subcontractor payments
- Preparing and presenting monthly analysis on key areas
- Driving forward areas of automation and efficiencies by undertaking a range of continuous improvement projects (a key area)
- Supporting the management accountants and senior management on a range of tasks, supporting the general business
The Individual:
- Qualified by Experience or Part Qualified
- Industry experience within a similar role
- Good Excel and systems knowledge
- Ability to drive forward process improvements

- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 p.a.
