An excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a high-growth organisation based just outside of Glasgow.

Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Purchase ledger ownership, including supplier statement reconciliations, trend analysis, intercompany reconciliations and presenting of key movements each month
• Month end assistance, including but not limited to, fixed asset reconciliation, bank reconciliations, support on stock reconciliations and drafting journals for review
• Staff expenses and credit card reconciliations
• Bi-monthly payment runs including subcontractor payments
• Preparing and presenting monthly analysis on key areas
• Driving forward areas of automation and efficiencies by undertaking a range of continuous improvement projects (a key area)
• Supporting the management accountants and senior management on a range of tasks, supporting the general business

The Individual:

• Qualified by Experience or Part Qualified
• Industry experience within a similar role
• Good Excel and systems knowledge
• Ability to drive forward process improvements

• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 p.a.
