Rutherford Cross are delighted to be supporting our manufacturing client to appoint an assistant accountant for a 12-15 month FTC. This role will have good exposure to senior finance individuals in the team and provide support to the function. This role is 80% home based and has the opportunity to be made permanent. We are looking to engage with either part-qualified or QBE candidates who are immediately available or on a short notice. A retention bonus will also be paid upon completion of this role.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting in the delivery of effective & efficient financial support to the Finance department & wider Star Group
• Provide input and analysis of monthly reporting documentation
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide input into the wider areas of Treasury; Fixed Asset & Capital Control; Day to Day Financial System support and other Ad Hoc Financial related monitoring
• Liaise with other Finance department members to assist in the support of Credit Control; Accounts Payable and Payroll teams
• Assist in monitoring and control of WIP Management
• Other tasks and duties as defined by the Group Finance Manager
