Description
Interim Accounts Payable Manager with our Edinburgh based client for an initial 3 month period. This role will report directly to the Head of Shared Services. The key responsibilities of this role will be:
- Managing accounts payable processes
- Responsibility for the financial elements of the procure to pay processes
- Monitoring KPI’s for the transactional teams
- Managing payments, close activities, financial reviews and reconciliations within reporting deadlines
- Ownership of the SSC end to end processes, desktop procedures and training materials
- Supporting the implementation of group financial policies and procedures
- Compliance submissions including: VAT, corporate tax and national statistics
- Supporting the improvement initiatives including the creation and delivery of opportunities to further enhance the value of financial systems propositions
- Providing support to the wider Finance team with any ad hoc financial projects
To apply you will be an experienced Accounts Payable Manager with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Demonstrable excel skills and Dynamics 365 experience would be highly advantageous. You will be a good communicator and be able to quickly establish credibility with stakeholders. This role will begin in February and will offer remote or hybrid working. Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 p.a.
