Rutherford Cross is pleased to be supporting a charitable organisation based in Edinburgh to recruit for an Interim Accountant. This role is initially for around 6 months however there might be the possibility of extension. Working as part of a finance team this role is key for supporting the organisation through a busy period and as well handling day to day finance and reporting duties it will be encouraged to assess current processes and offer improvements in areas identified. The organisation are open to both part and fully qualified accountants and will be operating a hybrid of both home and office based working. A summary of some of the key aspects of the role are below:
- Review of monthly management accounts
- Monitoring balance sheet
- Analysis of income
- Checking of transactions
- Using a mix of excel and erp systems
- Review of current processes – suggesting changes where required
This role is offering the opportunity to work with a well known Charity and offering flexibility for home and office based working. The organisation are seeking a candidate with previous management accounts experience and good systems skills as well as a candidate that can start at short notice.
