Rutherford Cross is exclusively engaged to recruit a newly created Head of Operational Finance for a rapidly growing sub contracting business based in Glasgow. This is a wide and diverse role looking after a growing business unit which is due to double in turnover in the next 12 months from its current turnover of close to £50m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, FP&A and financial reporting
• Oversee production of accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Preparation of year-end accounts
• Prepare cash flow forecasts weekly
• Liaising with external and internal auditors
• Effective working capital management
• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly reforecast and regular financial outlooks
• Prepare 3 year strategic plan annually
• Support commercial negotiations
• Approve all customer pricing proposals and tenders
• Ensure best practice in reporting and compliance
• Sit on Business Leadership Team.
• Finance Lead on the mobilization of the In Home capability in UK Market
• Hiring, Supervision, motivation of Finance Staff required to deliver the Business plan

Key Competencies;

• Educated to degree level and professional accounting qualification.
• Previous experience within a senior financial leadership position.
• Operationally focussed individual with a proven track record in contributing to commercial effectiveness and growth.
• Strong people management capability
• Strong systems and controls experience
• Sub Contracting experience would be a huge advantage

Package: 

£65,000- £75,000 plus car allowance, bonus and pension.
