Rutherford Cross has been engaged to recruit the newly created position of Group Management Accountant for a strong and reputable organisation. The business has grown rapidly since its establishment becoming one of the market leaders.

This position would be suited to someone who has the ability to manage a small team and regularly liaise with various functions in the wider organisation. This will involve gathering and reviewing important commercial information that will directly influence critical business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for the completion of all Management Accounts
• Management of cash-flow activities
• Oversee a finance team
• Review systems, processes and reporting methods to improve efficiency and identify areas of improvement
• Provide commercial information and advice based off of extracted information from the reports and accounts
• Analyse weekly sales activities including margin analysis and other performance metrics, this business critical information will directly lead to influencing commercial decisions

Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CA) with around 3-5 years PQE
• Proficient in using MS Excel to produce MI reports
• Strong reporting writing abilities
• Make recommendations on the basis of reviewing systems and processes
• Candidates who are part-qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE) will be considered if they can demonstrate significant experience in the other areas discussed.

Salary:

£40,000-£45,000
