Associate – Professional Services Firm

WeWork, No1. Spinningfields, Manchester City Centre

£20,000 + benefits (OTE £24,000 Year 1)

The opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, business minded graduate to join a fast-growing start-up recruitment company based in central Manchester.  As an Associate, you will work alongside an experienced industry leaders on key strategic consultancy assignments with some of the world’s most recognisable professional services brands.  After a period of intensive training, you will have the opportunity to liaise with business contacts on key projects whilst learning business processes and how to deliver exceptional client service.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Sourcing business information and market intelligence through social media, business press etc
  • Assisting Head of Practice with lead generation and business development
  • Attending client meeting, pitches and follow up discussions
  • Booking appointments and attending interviews
  • Drafting of reports and researching social media content
  • Managing CRM system effectively in line with data integrity regulations

Key attributes and qualities required:

  • University graduate (any discipline) with excellent verbal and report writing skills
  • Practical work experience gained outside of study - ideally in a customer facing role
  • Inquisitive with an investigative approach to data gathering
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to credibly build relationships
  • Self-motivated, mature attitude and able to work alone as well as part of a team
  • Strong interest in working with large corporate organisations on strategic projects
  • Adaptable and willing to take on additional tasks and duties as required
