Financial Controls Analyst

Rutherford Cross is working with an extremely successful Scottish business, based in Glasgow to recruit a Financial Controls Analyst.  This newly created position will allow an individual to work with all members of the business' finance department .   The role is suited to a qualified accountant or qualified internal auditor with experience of working in a deadline driven environment.  The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail and control focus and the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.

Duties include:

• Taking ownership of developing  financial controls and governance
• Ensure the accurate and efficient recording of all financial processes
• Responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring financial systems
• Assistance in the preparation of statutory accounts of  subsidiaries and parent company
• Liaising directly with the external auditors

Suitable candidates will possess:

• Prior exposure to ensuring robust financial controls
• The ability to build positive working relationships across the business
• CA/ACCA/IIA qualification, or at advanced stages
