Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working exclusively with its growing client based just outside of Glasgow to appoint an Interim Financial Controller. This role will begin as a 12-month contract, with potential to become permanent.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for 6 entities within the Group
• Production of year end accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Leadership and management of a small finance team of 3
• Weekly cashflow forecasting and management
• Monthly reporting and business partnering with the leadership team within each business unit
• Input into commercial tenders and new business ventures
• Other ad hoc duties that arise within this fast-growing entrepreneurial business

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent)
• Experienced in the hands-on preparation of monthly management accounts and leading a small finance function
• Comfortable in decision making at a senior level
• SME background is desirable
• Must be available at short notice

Salary / Working Model:

• £60,000 - £65,000 p.a.
• Office based working
