Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working in partnership with growing debt solutions business, Creditfix, based in Glasgow city centre to appoint a Financial Accountant. The anticipated, rapid growth of the group has created the need to create additional roles in Finance. In addition, the business will provide a firm career platform with good opportunity for personal and professional development.
Key duties include:
- Production of monthly consolidated management accounts including relevant commentary
- Collaborate with senior members of the finance team to prepare monthly management information pack
- Collaborate with financial planning and analysis part of the finance team to improve group performance and reporting
- Reporting & accounting as required for regulatory and legal purposes, including management and statutory accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliation, analysis and control
- KPI Reporting and Variance Analysis for our operational teams
- Assist with management of the annual audit process
- Liaison with tax accountants and review of tax returns
- Assistance with payment runs, banking and cashflow forecasting
- Development and coaching of junior staff
- Liaise with external auditors, company solicitors, banks and suppliers regularly
- Risk management and implementation of improvements to financial control and procedures
- Ad hoc project support
On offer:
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Depending on experience
Holidays: 29 days holiday (including English bank holidays + Scottish New Year), increasing by 3 days after 2 years continuous service
Professional Fees: Paid
Pension: 3% Employer Contribution
Working Hours: Hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, however the successful candidate needs to be flexible to the needs of the business
