Duties include:

• Providing technical accounting expertise on current UK GAAP and IFRS and taking responsibility for ESG reporting
• Responsibility for providing financial support for annual and ad-hoc corporate transactions as required
• Manage the annual statutory accounts process for trading entities, holding companies and trading companies sub-contracted from other UK finance teams
• Prepare certain complex statutory accounts on an annual basis
• Take responsibility for the accuracy of the accounting of specific technical areas such as distributable reserves; share based payments and defined benefit pension schemes
• Providing supporting information to audit and share responsibility for being the contact for external audit and Company secretarial department on specific statutory accounts matters
