My client is an Edinburgh City Centre based business who are experiencing their next rapid phase of growth. This business operates on a global scale and holds a number of key global brands as part of its own clientèle.

Following a recent promotion, an opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join the business. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role will have a full oversight of the finance function, control of subsidiary accounting and preparation of the company annual accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance team to ensure KPI targets are achieved
• Prepare Monthly & Annual Consolidated Management Accounts
• Work with the Head of Finance to agree the Annual Budgets and Financial Forecasting
• Prepare weekly Cash Flow
• Preparation of Draft Year End Statutory Accounts
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and other regulatory returns
• Coordinate Accounts Payable and supervise regular supplier payment runs
• Supervise Credit Control Manager and coordinate accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, petty cash and expenses

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience of setting up new systems and processes
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal

Salary £45-50k + benefits
