Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a growing PE-backed business with a real focus on sustainability, to appoint a Finance Business Partner.

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for improving the financial and operational performance of a division through the provision of accurate data-based information, enabling the commercial and operational teams to make strategic decisions and meet reporting commitments.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing accurate and timely weekly forecasts for the Senior Management Team
• Working together with the Finance Business Partner Manager to streamline / improve the weekly forecast process
• Playing a key role in the annual Budget process
• Reviewing management accounts with the management accounts team, investigating and resolving variances to plan
• Partnering with the FBP Manager to develop a reporting suite to drive business performance
• Preparing financial inputs to monthly Board packs
• Generating business improvement ideas and initiatives, reducing costs and improving financial / operational performance
• Involvement in annual pricing review and implementation
• Assisting operational personnel in financial aspects of Capital Project approval forms and providing relevant financial challenge
• Liaising with Fixed Asset accountants to ensure all necessary information supplied to assist in Capex approval being secured in a timely manner
• Assisting in the process of refining the KPI suite, rolling it out across the business, and ensuring it is prepared / shared on a timely basis
• Liaising with Group Finance on Group initiatives and projects
