Interim Finance Business Partner

Our client is looking to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner to work with and support the internal stakeholders of the organisation to help develop a shared in-depth understanding of the activities with regards to planning and reporting of performance. This role is specifically designed to educate stakeholders on the financial impact of their decisions and manage their activities as efficiently as possible.

Interim Finance Business Partner, Industry and commerce, up to £190/day

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing the financial information and advice needed to enable stakeholders to understand and control their activities.
• Early identification of risks to delivery of financial or performance management objectives.
• Providing financial advice and information for senior management in support of strategic decision making.
• Promoting good procurement practice through analytical work on expenditure patterns and providing advice to managers on applying procurement policy & procedure.

Business Partnering:

• Working with senior stakeholders to develop well considered and concisely expressed proposals and business cases.
• Developing collaborative working relationships with and between managers in support of effective delivery of business objectives.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and simplify procedures in support of improving organisational efficiency and delivery of organisational objectives.
• Financial management issues and opportunities are identified in advance through effective planning, profiled budgeting and timely forecasting.
• Effective operational planning and use of KPIs in support of delivering strategic priorities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong communication and influencing abilities
• Advanced Excel skills
• Evidence of partnering senior stakeholders within a business
• Experience of leading a small team
