Overview of the Opportunity

A global manufacturing organisation is seeking a Finance Analyst (Supply Chain) to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills and experience in supply chain finance, forecasting, and reporting. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and will support both UK and US reporting requirements, acting as the key finance contact for supply chain-related matters.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and review working capital reporting packs for internal and group reporting
  • Maintain and enhance financial modelling frameworks for quarterly forecasting
  • Analyse and challenge supply chain inputs for materials and general aircraft supplies
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews with supply chain teams, driving accountability
  • Review cost variation reports and ensure accurate bill of material updates
  • Monitor and address purchase price variances with supply chain teams
  • Reconcile SAP Bill of Materials with internal system
  • Act as finance lead for supplier claims, liaising with relevant teams
  • Prepare detailed financial performance reports for UK and US stakeholders
  • Consolidate and report large volumes of data using advanced IT tools
  • Liaise with external auditors, customers, and suppliers as needed
  • Ensure integrity of financial reporting across budgeting, forecasting, and incurred cost analysis
  • Support Estimate at Complete (EAC) processes and variance analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement in data accuracy and process adherence
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation to ensure accurate financial inputs

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree qualified with relevant finance experience
  • Part-qualified, qualified by experience or qualified accountant
  • Strong Excel and TM1 skills
  • Proven ability to manage large datasets and complex reporting
  • Effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience in manufacturing or aerospace sectors
  • Familiarity with SAP and supply chain finance
