Rutherford Cross is exclusively working with a rapidly growing telecoms business who are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst. The business is happy to consider new graduates for the role. The role will be supporting the Group Accountant and reporting to the Financial Controller in running a variety of Financial Purchase Ledger, Cashbook and General finance tasks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Daily running of the purchase ledger including control of accounts payable inbox and opening mail and distribution of invoices
• Finance Contract for project PO’s – checking daily for authorised invoices to process
• Coding and processing all invoices for 14 group companies
• Expense processing
• Sales Ledger tasks including daily postings to cash book, sales and purchase ledgers
• Daily bank reconciliations
• General Finance tasks including updating Fixed Asset folder
• Setting up month-end balance sheet spreadsheet and the spreadsheets used for the calculations of accruals and prepayments

The ideal candidate will look like:

• A methodical worker
• Strong excel skills
• Knowledge of Sage 200 would be an advantage
• Good Communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
