This is an exciting opportunity for a first mover from the profession with FS/Asset Management experience or an individual who has gained experience working within Investments/Wealth/Asset Management industry within the 3rd or 2nd line of defense to join a Global Investments organisation based in Edinburgh. Reporting into the Head of EWR you will:
- Deliver Operational risk reviews and assessments (planning through to reporting)
- Support management in maintaining accurate, up-to-date and effective risk registers
- Lead business workshops to identify and quantify risk scenarios for inclusion with the firm’s regulatory capital calculations
- Continue to enhance the firms risk management policy
- Work closely with the senior enterprise risk manager to develop new and innovative solutions to risk management challenges
- Carry out robust root cause analysis on risk events
- Prepare risk event trend analysis and meaningful MI
- Represent the risk team in control committees and risk committees
It is likely that you will either have experience within the profession and looking to make your first move in house or you will have gained similar experience within an investments organisation already.
