Due to the continued success of the Tax Consultancy Group of this leading Scottish accountancy firm, Rutherford Cross has been exclusively engaged to attract a high performing Employment Tax Solutions specialist to share in the success of the business and grow the service line further. The role can be based in one of their offices in the Central Belt and will support the Head of Tax in growing a new specialism for the Tax Consultancy Group.
The firm have a real appetite for sustainable growth and have recently won a number of competitive tenders through their own unique and ambitious approach. They are in a very strong position for the future and have an effective succession plan to continue to grow the Scottish practice.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and proactive employment tax professional to join a successful team and contribute to the development of the tax practice. You will have the opportunity to immediately get involved in interesting tax consultancy projects and develop market leading solutions. This role will provide not only technical expertise, but also lead on winning new clients, and supporting the overall development of the business. The firm are keen to talk to individuals who are able to demonstrate business winning capabilities, and a desire to build the service line.
Technically you must possess excellent skills in employment tax solutions and a deep understanding of share schemes planning including EMI, Hurdle Shares, Seed Enterprise Investment Schemes and Bonus Arrangements. This will have been gained in an accountancy firm, legal practice, in-house HR department or within HMRC.
