The opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join our client’s Finance Team. It is a temp role working with a fantastic organisation in Edinburgh.

Our client is based in city of Edinburgh.

The Role

To support the Finance department team in the production of the year end statutory financial statements, supporting reconciliations and disclosure analysis. Also to provide support in gathering evidence for the external financial auditors.

• Assist in the preparation of year end statutory accounts
• Monthly reconciliation of significant accounts
• Ad hoc support for the Management Accounting team
• Year end annual accounts
• Ad hoc financial work
• Job holder will be expected to carry out work to specific timescales and to a high degree of efficiency and accuracy

 Candidate Requirements

• 3 years accounting experience in financial accounting
• Experience in working with a computerised accounting package, the Microsoft Office package, advanced experience level with working with excel and large amount of data analysis
