Description

Rutherford Cross is seeking a commercial Finance Analyst who is interested in pursuing a career in a Plc environment in a team which is responsible for driving business performance through the design and delivery of insightful management information and analysis. Having a passion for shaping and influencing business decisions, you must be able to work closely with different stakeholders such as finance, business partners, project teams and wider business management teams and be able to build a network of strong working relationships across the business.

 

The role involves:

 

Business Performance Management:

  • Design, preparation and review of targeted and insightful monthly MI
  • Identify options and recommendations to optimise business performance
  • Delivery of selected options

Business Value Priorities:

  • Identify, lead and deliver value generating projects
  • Robust, financial assessment of business opportunities
  • Responsible for definition, scoping, management and delivery of those projects

You will fully support the business area giving analytical support to drive business performance and track the real financial benefits and value of projects.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Professional accountancy qualification (either fully qualified or nearing full qualification)
  • Proficient financial knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of influencing and challenging stakeholders at various levels
  • Understanding of systems and processes as they affect the financial results
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
