Auditors – I am delighted to be working with a Global Consultancy firm whose clients include some of the UK’s top companies. I’m looking for Assistant Managers and Managers with superb technical skills as well as the desire and ability to be client facing, becoming a trusted advisor within a busy and expanding team. Roles can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow and my client is extremely flexible on managing your workload to suit your lifestyle.

Duties include:

• Planning and executing the assignment within the team, inviting input and senior review
• Working off-site at the clients’ place of business
• Identifying, raising and managing risks and potential issues with Managers/Partners
• Engaging with clients to understand of their business to facilitate an efficient audit
• Identifying and understanding client needs and offering solutions
• Communicating with senior members of the team and stakeholders
• Taking responsibility for monitoring progress against budget and providing explanations should these differ
• Helping to develop junior members of staff
• Compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements

Requirements:

• ACA/ICAS Qualified or overseas equivalent
• Educated up to degree level or CTS
• Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements
• Working knowledge of professional services, issues regarding advice and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering
• An awareness of current economic and market trends

Desirable experience:

• Working with a variety of clients
• Helping with the development of junior team members
