Our client is an independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers who have grown to become a leading professional services firm with a network of offices across Scotland. We are delighted to be working with the firm to recruit for a Valuations Assistant Manager or Manager to help to expand their valuations service. The successful candidate will report to both the Tax and Corporate Finance functions and provide services to a varied client base. In this role, the successful candidate will run the day-to-day valuations team whilst helping to grow the service. Over time, there is great opportunity to develop the team as well as your own career with the firm.
This role would suit someone with a CA or other financial qualification (e.g. ACA or CFA), with 2+ years PQE from either a tax or corporate finance background. Some knowledge or experience of tax valuations would be beneficial. The role involves managing client relationships and expectations. You will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to identify new business opportunities and be an ambassador for the firm and the valuations service.
