Rutherford Cross are delighted to be partnered with one of our key clients in order to appoint an Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager will play a vital role within the Legal Entity Control team and will work with all areas of the business to ensure the delivery of accurate statutory accounts and to ensure deadlines are met.
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly or recently qualified accountant to join a leading business that has a track record for staff development. The role would be suited to someone with a strong technical background and who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare statutory accounts
- Collaborate with external auditors and co-ordinate the audit process
- Review and prepare board reporting
- Review of FCA regulatory reporting
- Review and preparation of earn out and impairment calculations
- Review and preparation of technical accounting papers
- Provide technical support and guidance to our part qualified accountants
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Review reconciliations of Balance sheet and Profit & Loss accounts
- Ad hoc projects (such as liquidation / dissolution of entities and assisting with acquisition activity)
Individual Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ICAS / ACA / ICAEW / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience gained within an accounting / audit firm is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- UK GAAP / US GAAP experience is highly desirable
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Experience of people management
- Comfortable working within fast paced environment and tight timeframes
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
